Hi! I’m SB, your local barber/stylist extraordinaire. I’m originally from Texas, moved to New York initially in 2014 and have been here in NYC for 8 years. I lived in Austin for 14 years before moving here, having grown up in Amarillo (at the top, by Oklahoma).

I love Brooklyn. I love the seasons, I love the trains, I love the people, the culture, the food, and the walking/biking living in this city affords. I live right near Prospect Park but have spent most of my years here in between Bushwick & Ridgewood. I am currently obsessed with South Brooklyn and PLG in particular

I’m an equal opportunity pet lover, and I do have a cat named Maceo who’s almost 9, and is, the current love of my life. I love hanging out with friends, seeing music, cooking, plants, art, architecture, history, languages…you name it I prob at least have a passing interest in it. I love a calming upbeat vibe.I love a cozy hoodie that fits just right. This is the energy I am bringing into the space everyday (I hope!). I want you to feel relaxed, invited, and well taken care of. We go through so much in this city that we love, we deserve space and pampering too!

I’ve got 25 years of experience cutting (mainly) short hair. With a cosmetology background (think scissor forward) I’ve been sculpting locks of all shapes for a loooong time. I love working with curly textures, straight hair and waves. I do excellent fades and edge ups, men’s business scissor cuts, mid length styles down to longer looks. I don’t do a lot of styling, I like my shapes to look good with a little product on towel dried hair.
